ROUND OF PIKROLIMNI 27-03-11
Round of Pikrolimni road race. The day was perfect and I started warmed up very well, as I went there cycling. The pace was very strong from the start but I managed to keep up with the second group till the end placing second in my category. Third race, third medal. That's a great start for the season.

N. GREECE CHAMPIONSHIP SEICH SOY 20-03-11
At Seich Sou forest, North Greece MTB Championship took place. After a very good start, I entered second in the first uphill trail, just a few meters behind the first. When the trail started to go down, and while I was trying to find an open section to pass over the first rider, I had a flat tyre. So I had to stop to pump it, but unfortunately I had forgotten my CO2 cartridge at home. I started to inflate it with my pump and losing precious time. I continued racing with only a few psi in the tyre, and managed to placed second.

OREOKASTRO MTB RACE 13-03-11
First race of the season and I started pretty well. I placed 3rd in my category. The day was perfect with a great sunshine and the truck was very fast and simple.

3-5 PIGADIA SKI RESORT 05-03-11
Today me and Antonis ski with Pietro and Erica from across the Atlas. They made a stop at 3-5 Pigadia on their way to the Guiness record. It was a chance for us to spent some time with these two people and to be part of their journey.

3-5 PIGADIA SKI RESORT 20-02-11
Sunday 20-02-11. Maybe the best day of the season. The weather was great and the snow just perfect, especially the early hours. There was enough people but there wasn't any problem on the trucks or the lifts. I met Petros and with Chris we went to Paradeisos trail from mountaineering refuge. Perfect weather, perfect snow and perfect company. This is what I call a perfect day.

3-5 PIGADIA SKI RESORT 31-01-11
Today me and George enjoyed a great day at the resort. The sun was shining and the snow wasn't bad at all. After 5 downhills we went for mountaineering ski from resorts base to the top of the mountain and watched the view to Kaimaktsalan, Jena and mount Olympus. We all hope to snow again soon.

3-5 PIGADIA SKI RESORT 26-01-11
Today was the first time I went for skiing for the season. The worst season I can remember. There wasn't any snow at all, and half the resort was not accessible. I went to 3-5 Pigadia with George and Angelos and the day was perfect with great sunshine (but with just a little snow). We all hope that the snow will return. We'll see.

ROAD BIKE TRAINING MONOPIGADO 02-01-11
Happy New Year to all. Sunday 02/01/2011 was the first road bike training for the new year. We began (after the greetings and the like) about 40 people, with our dear Mr. Georgiadis telling us about the route, without giving much importance to what he was saying. Until the good staff came. Ascent from Vasilika to Monopigado through a dirt road. Some of course did not dare that, despite it was quite rideable, and turned back. 3 enjoyable hours and around 70 km.
A pleasant surprise was the presence of Michael Antonoglou, which although seemingly quite weak, followed at some point, our train. Happy new year with a lot of training km.

HORTIATIS PANORAMA ROAD BIKE DOWNHILL 19-01-11
Wednesday 19-01-11. A perfect day so I wanted to see the view from above. So I went for Hortiatis mountain uphill all the way to the radar 2 km beyond the finish line of the well known race. At the return I met with 15 other cyclists with the same idea. I didn't have the helmet mounting for the camera so I mount it with two straps on the handlebar and shot a video on the downhill. From now on I will be doing this uphill once a week.
